Here is a short list of bus and taxi prices between some of the most popular districts in Lima, Peru, like San Borja, Miraflores and, Lince. Please remember these prices are not fixed at all but a daily recount of my experiences in Lima. Also be aware that for tourists the prices can be a bit higher. - From San Borja to Historic Lima: 1.4 Nuevos Soles.
- From Surco to Lince: 1.2 Nuevos Soles.
- From Jesus Maria to Miraflores: 1.3 Nuevos Soles.

Taxi Fares:

- From Lince to Aviacion: 5 Nuevos Soles.
- From Lince to La Victoria: 6 Nuevos Soles.
- From Lince to Comas: 16/20 Nuevos Soles.
- From Lince to Magdalena: 6 Nuevos Soles.
There are more fares from Lince just because I usually end up renting an apartment in Lince and avoiding more expensive accomodations in other touristic districts. Also, taxi fares tend to be more expensive during weekends, at night and number of passengers.
There are no rules for taking taxis outside an event or location. For example, if you are leaving a party in Larcomar during the weekend at around 11pm and once outside you see a line of taxis, you are in no obligation to take the first one, but instead can ask around to the other taxis parked behind or even the ones just driving on the street.
